Virtual gravity calculator incorporating rotational input and eye tracking

Winner of the best 3D UI award at IEEE VR 2024. Will the apple fall is a virtual gravity calculator that utilizes novel rotary movement combined with eye gaze and depth to input and adjust values more easily in VR.

Rotational Input

Character input (typing) is always a challenge with HMD via traditional methods. By linking rotational input to change values the user has the ability to incrementally adjust numerical ranges with greater ease.

In addition by layering rotational input with depth movement, and eye gaze tracking for selection. The variable selection is a seamless experience.

Design System

Visuals were design around the rotational input dials and the function of a gravitational calculation.
